These scenes are carefully choreographed and require open communication between the actors, director, and intimacy professional to ensure everyone feels safe and respected. Intimacy scenes aim to portray authentic connections between characters while maintaining boundaries and protecting the well-being of all involved. It is crucial to approach these scenes with professionalism, empathy, and sensitivity to create a supportive environment for the performers.

Intimacy scenes include (but are not limited to): nudity, partial nudity, implied nudity, romance, sexual activities, sensitive material (gender, race, mental health, etc.), or exceptional physical and/or emotional vulnerability (ex. abuse, harassment, bullying, assault, interrogation, pregnancy, mental illness, death, blood, cannibalism, incarceration, restraint, violence, etc.)
